Bidrage med feedbackI love Indian food and this place has always some delicious vegan choices. they bake the naan for them as they order their food. my favorite is the aubergine dish and the garnozos. they can bring their own container when they order. I bring my own silver wear to save the planet from more stupid plastic, but since covid I prefer it. Many parking spaces. the market is great and cheap. they have tons of species and husks very cheap. they also have sweets, but have not tried to eat there is always too much. portions are very generous. naan's good. they can have a meal for $6.50 it used to have $5.
This is right at the house of my parents and we will eat (sometimes eat) every time we visit. the plate is specialized (the
This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the valley.
I will begin with saying that the indies sweets and seasoned employees are friendly and colorful. the prices are amazing, there is a lot of parking, and the restaurant is located in a small market where they did with the same to make everything that the cooks use on their menu. eating is amazing, but to my surprise, the Indian spiritual discredit themselves and say that the Mexican cooks are to be thanked? the employed seem to be too pressing not to be credited. one is sure, the place must be cleaned frequently and is in desperate need of a renovation. I had taken my order and decided to sit at her table where I saw a flat-screen TV, it was a Bollywood movie, I couldn't enjoy it though, because I kept frozen. I did not ask why the Indian personal seemed entertaining and I think that was typical. After I got my order, I grab a plastic fork from the stack that is available for everyone to get, and it's fat. I am telling myself that someone has to put the fork in an accidental manner in the stack; it turns out that it only indies sweetness and seasoned it again to the costumers. not very well done, but I understood. I just have to say that I was there only twice, and I probably take them to the lazy days that, for me, are Saturdays. I wanted to love this place sincerely, but I will not come back.
I had read about this place on happycow, and had stopped in once. Here's my Northridge India Sweets and Spices review. It's very authentic Indian causal style restaurant, run by Indian people. Very cheap prices. Come only if you have an iron stomach. To get to the food area, you have to walk through the store. Once you're there, you will find a large steamtable with all kinds of pre-cooked dishes as well as fried snacks like samosas and pakora, etc. There's plenty of seating as well. The women behind the counter who took my order did not speak English, so I couldn't really know what contains dairy and what doesn't. So I opted for the obvious samosa and pakora as well as a couple pieces of pappadum crackers. Well, I'm sorry to say that I didn't like the food at all. The samosa tasted odd and overly spicy. The pakoras were salty and too oily (the kitchen re-fried it before giving it to me). And I kept feeling as if I was eating sand with every other bite of the pappadum. I couldn't finish my food. This may be a place for you if you are adventurous with an iron stomach, but I've had much better tasting Indian food at other places.
