I looked online and saw that this restaurant had a rating of 4.5 stars. However, it was the worst sushi place I have ever been to. We waited 30 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, the rolls were huge, about 2.5 inches in diameter, but the rice was overcooked and the tuna sashimi was only 4 inches long. It looked unappetizing and tasted terrible. I couldn't even bring myself to eat it. Definitely not worth even a single star. Food rating: 1 out of 5.

So I'm leaving 3 stars for an average of our two experiences. First time we ordered about a week ago, the food was absolutely delicious. No complaints whatsoever and everything was devoured. We ordered again today and all the fish had this really strong fishy smell and taste. Like overwhelmingly strong. We couldn't eat anything except the potato croquettes and the rice to the crispy rice spicy tuna dish. 5 stars the first time, one star the 2nd order.

Solid Japanese food for cheap (high value), but the ambience is kind of sad (dark at dinnertime and not in a romantic way) and where we were seated was leaning. Service is good and fast though! Corkage fee is so cheap like $10. I liked the grilled salmon bento.Food: 4/5
