Bidrage med feedbackCupids has been a part of my goat fraud for 50 years, but the Northridge site has gone sideways! the chili tasted directly from the dose! the rest was good, but the man, what happened? new owners cut corners? we are now going to the canoga park location. okay here is an update my son and I decided to see if winnetka was better and we ordered two chili dogs and the chili was on point the original tasty quality we expected sad northridge they fail winnetka is our new way to spot
The weenies were not as good. They were served cold, so if you like cold weenies this is the place to go. They have dyed relished, which looks like radioactive cubes. I think it was mid but I prefer a Costco or Sam's club hotdogs for half the price. They have cute shirts and it's a cute shack. However, there is nothing special about Cupid's hot dogs.
I've heard nothing but good things about this place so decided to give it a try since I was in the area. Immediately, I recognized this place as a stand-in for ice cream shop for an episode of the TV show My Name Is Earl. When I arrived, there were a few people in line ahead of me but did not have to wait too long because the staff was quick taking orders and preparing the food. I got the Chicago Dog and a small drink. It was inexpensive about a little over $9. There are 3 tables on the side, but only 2 with umbrellas. They also have locations in Chatsworth, Winnetka, and Simi Valley
I'm gonna give this 3 stars and here is my reasoning. I LOVE Cupids, it's a place my family and I have been going since I was a kid. So it has a sentimental value to me. however, the person who took our order was incredibly rude. Which I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, it's hot, they're in a small little store all day. I still suggest going and experiencing the food, they do ask you wear a face mask so please don't be surprised at the big sign before you walk up.
If I could leave zero stars for their sorry excuse for customer service, I would. The woman who works the register is disgustingly rude. I went with my coworker during our lunch. My coworker ordered two hot dogs with everything. She thought it included chilli cheese so when she realized that it didn 't, she politely asked her to add some and paid the difference. This woman tells the other woman making the hot dogs to make them extra crappy, especially for her . Of course she used a more vulgar word. How bitter do you have to be to be so rude to a PAYING customer? On top of that, how stupid can you be to say it IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER! The owners should seriously take into consideration all the bad reviews they have because of their workers. How this place keeps getting business is beyond me.
