The Hoot - Northport

The service at this restaurant was exceptional, receiving a perfect 5-star rating. The atmosphere was also pleasant, earning a 4-star rating.

The food was tasty, beautifully presented, and served with excellent service. The restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms. We arrived at 10:30 for breakfast, but the dark roast coffee was empty and not refilled. Despite this small issue, I would definitely come back again.

We were so excited to finally eat at the Hoot! Monday night was Mexican theme night. Our original reservation was for 3 people but we went down to 2 people. This didn't seem to effect us being seated. We arrived on time and we're seated right away to an inside table near back of restaurant. What we didn't know was that the table was right next to the employee bathroom. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We ordered our margaritas and they were delicious. However with in a short time an employee came and used the bathroom. The smell drifted to our table and lingered for quite sometime. Windows were open but it still seemed to put a bad taste in our meal when it arrived. I brought this to attention of our waitress and she said she would address it. Our check was delivered but nothing was said as we left. I honestly just wanted to bring this to their attention so it wont happen to someone else. We are pretty easy people not wanting anything for free just know our experience was tainted do to this situation. Suggestion is to put a really good fan in there or move. the table. Food was good as well as service but we should have sat outside. We were never offered that.
