Bangkok Snap - NORTHMEAD

I had a fantastic quick lunch at this restaurant. The food was tasty, with a great curry sauce and plenty of vegetables and chicken. I highly recommend it. The only downside was the price - $16 for a lunch special is a bit on the expensive side, but it does come with a drink. Overall, 4 stars.

Have come here over the years but lately has gone off. This restaurant used to be great. It’s always been a bit more expensive than other places but that was balanced by the quality of the food Lately, not so great. Came her before and the standard had dropped. This visit was also a let down. The drink ordered from the menu wasn’t available as it was sold out. The entree we ordered was also not available When the food came out it was cold Don’t get me wrong, the food is still very flavoursome…….. if it’s available and if it’s served at a decent temperature I get it that restaurant’ can sell out but at 6.45 pm on a Saturday night with the restaurant at less than 30% full……. Well that is just ordinary Won’t be back

The takeaway food is pretty good but don’t expect the dish to reflect the menu item you ordered. Once I ordered crying tiger from their online ordering link only to have them ring me and claim the item is not on the menu any more. Tonight the cucumber relish in the entree’s description, again clearly stated on their online ordering page, apparently is not part of that dish. Not informed about that when ordering or picking up. Simple things I know, but the annoyance is compounded when the person on the phone refuses to even acknowledge the issue. When I was there a diner had to leave his table to get the menus for himself and his dining companions. He was clearly tired of waiting for a waiter to do it. Like I said, the food is ok but in my experience there is likely to be something about your order that won’t go quite right. And good luck getting anyone behind the counter to recognise that you are not getting what you expected.

I’ve eaten on many occasions and never have I been more disgusted in my life. I was told my order would be ready in 20-30 minutes however I proceeded to wait over 1 hour 10minutes. When I asked why they where taking so long! The non mask wearer lady working on the counter was incredibly rude and what I would say was very vindictive. Let’s just say I don’t recommend eating here if you are after any semblance of service !!!

The quality of the food at this restaurant has decreased over time. Despite giving them the benefit of the doubt, I am still disappointed. The taste is inconsistent, dry, and lacking the flavor that it had when they first opened. The prices they charge are not justified by the quality of the food.
