Taco Nano - Northfield

I decided to try this place out due to the many well written and positive reviews online. Unfortunately it was not as “delicious” as people say, I’ve had chipotle burritos that have more flavor. We had ordered two steak burritos to go, we got one filled with rice and lettuce with some chicken, and another with beans and rice with some steak. I’ve received larger portions of meat from an angry manager at subway. To top it off they charged us for two Mexican cokes and 1 Jarrito we didn’t even order. In my opinion there are better options. On the good side I did have a meal served quickly with kind staff.

The food is average. Nice decor. We ordered burrito, tacos, elote, strawberry lemonade . Nothing stood out. Smaller portions. I ordered the burrito with all the meats. Small. The bill was over 50.00 $20 of that was a modelo and burrito. I’m in Chicago area , many exceptional Mexican food places. If your paying $14 for a burrito, it should be Mucho Grande. Food is ok but really expensive. Coca cola and 3 pieces of chicken quesadilla 20$ ! Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Always fresh, tasty and worth the ride. Best tacos I ever had and owner is also a super nice guy. You will not be disappointed
