Koffie Winkel - Northbridge

Found this little cafe near where we were staying in James Street. Very friendly staff, good service, great food and coffee. You need to go there for breakfast you won't be disappointed!

I work close by to Koffie Winkle and was so happy when they opened their doors. For a long time I was subjected to their neighbouring cafe's food and coffee and at the start of the day, everyone needs a good brew! The brothers that own the place are always cheerful and welcoming. It's like you're being served by good friends from the first time you walk in the door. The food is delicious and everything in the cabinet is freshly made. If you visit Northbridge, take a short walk down the road to see these guys. You won't be disappointed.

This relatively new place ticks all the boxes. Wandered in for breakfast on a work stay nearby and what a find! I had a coffee (delicious) and a chia/coconut bircher muesli with berries and toasted nuts which was a tad runny but heavenly flavour - so good I went back for seconds the next morning (better texture day 2). Colleagues had the granola, and eggs with avocado and were similarly impressed, but after giving the bircher a try - based on my recommendation - both were promptly converted for the rest of our stay. We decided to try the fresh rolls for lunch with some of the freshly cold-pressed juices - again delicious! Great coffee, healthy fresh food and drinks, reasonable prices, friendly staff, great atmosphere......do yourself a favour!

If you are looking for a place with a great vibe to enjoy a meal check this place out. Great coffee. Nice and prompt service with a smile. Their food is top notch fresh and clean.
