St Giles Cheese - Northampton

A wonderful little store with a cornucopia of first-class goods. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

What a fantastic shop. So much variety. Lovely to see local produce in there. It’s shops like this that are keeping the High street alive!

Been using this amazing shop since it opened. Easy to feel like friends with the owners who believe in what they are doing: championing great foodie service and variety in Northampton! I've been helped time and time again in putting together Xmas and birthday gifts as well as satisfying my own family's needs for the more rarified cheeses, alcohol, breads, meats and other produce at random times during the year. The scotch eggs are amazing. Used to love the game pies too, but alas I went predominately veggie a few years ago. And they're right next to the Northampton's specialist coffee and tea shop! What a combo! Just remembering the chocolates now too. Mmmmmmm. I noticed some other places trying to match their cheese selections after they had been opened for a while. But they have been leading since they began and continue to for good reason! I always recommend them without hesitation.

Very knowledgable staff, exellent choices of lots of products. Tip-Top service. Very well set out premises.

In the midst of a hectic seasonal period, the owners showed amazing patience and care in ensuring I walked out with great cheese, charcuterie (and epic scotch eggs!!! and at an incredibly reasonable price. What an asset to a town rapidly diminishing in quality establishments like this one. Merry xmas to all at St Giles Cheese.
