Royal Thai Northampton

We loved the Royal Thai on Valentine's night and they even gave my beautiful girlfriend a rose!

I think they have given up trying to please clients and reverting to just ripping them off by over charging. We used to come here a lot before lock down and always lovely food and service. Went recently and instead of the free prawn crackers we were charge £5.45 !!!! for a small basket. At the time we didn’t check the bill but on getting home and checking their website found we were overcharged on 50% of the bill buyer beware !!!!

We ordered a takeaway from here which has always been great, but the portion size and quality and drastically reduced where the prices have gone through the roof. 5 tiny dim sum balls for £9, absolutely ridiculous! Rice £6.50, only received half a tub about 50p worth of rice! If the quality matched the price I wouldn't have had an issue, but it is very far from that.

We live in Kent but every time we come to Northampton we have to visit The Royal Thai. Amazing food and the staff are wonderful and attentive. I would highly recommend

My experiences at the Royal Thai restaurant are always perfect! Mena and Jay are a delight they are super friendly and attentive, and are always a pleasure to talk to. The food was magnificent, everything from the green curry and rice, to the papaya salad, and the pad Thai I thoroughly enjoyed all of it! I will definitely recommend this restaurant to more of my friends and family, and I look forward to returning again soon.
