A staff approached me and straight away she said they only have chicken wings and they don’t have anymore bone-in chicken or boneless chicken. Was surprised cos surely they just don’t run out of chicken and I am pretty sure that they stock up as that’s their main dish to serve chicken. I said let’s be clear here I know you still have chicken but they just don’t want to cook anymore. She grinned and agreed to what I was saying. It’s horrible they are lazy to served customer who wasted their time to then be told a very appalling excuse.I am very unhappy with the way they are treating their customers. Why can’t Nando’s Northampton Market Square just be upfront and say sorry it’s nearly closing time now we can’t served you anymore as our kitchen is closed. It is the worst thing ever to be lied and made your customer/s as a dumb person. Hey Nando’s at Northampton Market Square shame on you for making your customers dumb, they’re NOT. You should be given a zero rating for an awful, awful customer service as you have none!!
I had been a loyal and satisfied customer at Nando's in Northampton for years. However, during my last three visits, the quality of the chicken in the pitta has significantly declined. I used to receive chicken breast fillets in my pitta, but recently I have been served small, tough, tasteless pieces of chicken with very little sauce. It is clear that they are now using cheaper cuts, likely from the leg, as a cost-saving measure. This experience was disappointing and felt more like eating at a roadside kebab stand. I do not plan on dining there again.
I ordered extra spicy chicken thighs with a side of peri-salted chips and mash, but there was a mix-up and I received garlic bread instead of mash. I let a friend have the bread and ended up eating the chicken and chips. Unfortunately, the extra hot chicken was not as spicy as I had hoped and got cold quickly. The chips were good, although they weren't as flavorful as I expected. The refillable drinks were a nice touch. Overall, I was not overly impressed with my meal and likely won't be returning.
The manager on at 7.20pm on 8th August 2022 was completely and utterly rude. I won't be a customer of Nandos northampton anymore simply because I refuse to contribute to this man's wages. Honestly, I'd get rid.
If I was to give a honest review nearly everything was fine for nandos, food was nice, General staff where good, place looked okay (coukd do with an update inside and outside) and was busy, my biggest problem was they where clearly very busy the que was huge you had 1 girl behind the tills trying her hardest to do her up selling being friendly and putting orders through whilst clearly in some sort of physical pain... and then you had what was very clearly a manager probably an assistant manager and team leader (all dressed smartly and not in nandos uniform which is what gave thier positions away) just stood there between the cooking area, till and seating area just gassing away with each from time to time whilst waiting for my order to be taken you could see them turn around look at the que then sheepishly go back to talking to each... very unprofessional in my opinion didn't see any of these 3 people do anything to help any of thier staff.. even when they are clearly very busy and in discomfort.
