Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I had our rehearsal dinner/pre-wedding event at Progression. Working with Chris was so great and easy. We had a few dietary restrictions in our group and he was very accommodating. The food was great, the beer was great, and the staff was great! They even played a Spotify playlist over the sound system that we had created specifically for the event. Thank you to the team of Progression for starting our wedding weekend with a bang!
This is a nice little brew pub located on the rail rail trail in Northampton where the trail crosses Pleasant St. Nice patio area with a bicycle parking area. Clean and neat inside and out. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am getting tired of the IPA's though. Everywhere you go these days they have 6 or 7 IPA's and maybe one lager or pilsner. Progression does have a lager and a really nice kolsh. I ordered a pint of the kolsh style ale, $7. When I was leaving I decided to pick up a 4 pack of pints from their cooler, a little over $12. How come one pint at the bar is $7 but 4 pints from the cooler are about $3 each?
Play Incubation Collective hosted a performing arts salon at Progression and it was a delight to work with Chris and all the warm and welcoming staff. The space at Progression is really unique- airy and spacious while also being intimate- truly a dream for a performer. Such great vibes there and we look forward to being back.
Went here for dinner this past weekend and ate on the patio because we had our dog with us. Our server (who may be the tap room manager) brought a water bowl for the dog. He cheerfully offered me a few samples so I could make a beer selection. Our food order was brought out quickly. I wanted a pulled pork sandwich but they were sold out, so opted for the chicken Caesar wrap. The chicken was warm (a good surprise) and the dressing some of the best I've had in recent memory. Our server came to check on us a few times without being overbearing, and we talked about how COVID had changed the town's outdoor dining options, and some of what was coming up for the warmer months. The only drawback was the lack of heaters on the patio so it was a bit chilly, but we enjoyed our visit.
What a fun brewery! The vibe is so fun and chill and the beer is delicious. I had the adults are talking. Stuck with it for the entire time I was there. The pretzels and flatbread were also a solid choice. Great to see that area of Northampton being built up. It's been awhile since I was there...was home for Easter and met a friend there. Def a must go if you're in the area!
