Wendy's - North York

I ordered large drinks through the kiosk, but was given medium-sized ones instead. The staff insisted they were large, but I know they weren't, since I've had them many times before. I ended up paying for them...

The food at Wendy's is consistently good, but my recent visit to this location was disappointing. There were no customers either seated in the restaurant or waiting in line, yet I had to wait several minutes before anyone offered to help me. Additionally, the restaurant was unclean; there were French fries on the floor and the tables needed to be wiped down. I regret not taking any pictures. On my next visit—whenever that may be—I will be sure to take some and add them to this review.

The manager was quite unhelpful. When I asked her why the food wasn't ready, especially since it was past the pickup time, she simply said I had a problem and didn't seem to care at all.

The staff are incredibly nice and truly show their passion and kindness in their work. I would love to visit again—thank you to the amazing team!

I've been visiting this Wendy's location about every five years since before 2005, with my most recent trip being in 2018. It's conveniently accessible from the street as well as from the shopping mall. Inside, you'll find self-order kiosks and a self-serve drink machine, along with ample indoor seating and a long electric fireplace that adds a cozy touch. The restaurant is clean, and the staff are friendly and courteous. During my visit on August 25, 2023, I ordered a Chocolate Mini Frosty for $0.99, and it met my expectations. They offer free Wi-Fi, and the entire restaurant is wheelchair accessible, including separate male and female restrooms. There’s a mix of free and paid street parking available nearby, and high chairs are provided for little ones. Overall, it's a solid dining option. Review 2023-274.
