The Bean Sprout - North York

As someone with Celiac I hate to eat a separate (different) meal, then all the others at the table. The Bean Sprout gave me a common experience everyone loved.

The food is delicious and it is so nice to have Chinese food without worrying about gluten in sauces or cross contamination. Prices are somewhat high, but this is typical of special gluten-free foods usually.

Here's a GEM! The owners are super friendly and accommodating! I went today to buy some of their gluten-free frozen items to travel home (I live in a small town south of Ottawa). I was lucky enough to also get a hot gluten-free lunch. Your breakfast buffet was completely gluten-free! Gluten-free restaurants are rare where I live and I am so glad to have found this place that is close to HWY when I travel between the Ottawa area and southern Ontario! I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fresh or frozen Chinese and gluten-free! You also have some vegan options! Thank you. Mark and staff for providing large gluten-free menu items! I will definitely be back (or use your pop-up if you are next to me)!

We have their frozen gluten-free Chinese food from a pop-up shop in Ingersoll, Ontario on weekends and it was amazing! I'm so glad we ordered a lot so we can have several meals.

The drive from Waterloo to this restaurant is definitely worth it to savor authentic Chinese cuisine. The dishes were all delicious, constantly replenished, and the owners were incredibly friendly, ensuring customer satisfaction. I brought along four friends who don't typically eat gluten-free, and they were surprised to learn that the food was gluten-free because it tasted just as good. While the prices are a bit higher, it is understandable due to the quality of ingredients. Overall, a great dining experience.
