The food was alright. It wasn't very spicy, which I prefer. The flavor could have been more pronounced, but considering the price, it was a good deal. I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas meal, which cost around $9. There was plenty of food to enjoy.

I have been frequenting this restaurant for more than 10 years, and the food is consistently delicious with generous portions! The owner is Trinidadian and excels at preparing his dishes.

Do not anticipate a fancy experience, anticipate attitude but also anticipate delicious food at a reasonable price. If you are seeking upscale customer service, go to Subway instead and settle for mediocre food in exchange for good service. This restaurant offers genuine, quality food. Their daily specials are excellent value for the price. While it may not be the best roti in the world, it is a good substitute when your mom is not around to make you a homemade version. In this area, there is nothing better.

The roti and channa are decent. My only complaint is the channa wasn't spicy enough. The channa and pumpkin in roti go well together.The roti is definitely one of the better ones I have tasted, but it's not the best in town. Caribbean Palms is pretty inexpensive but don't expect the food to blow you away. The staff there are pretty dry and always look weary and tired out. Even with a tip they wouldn't liven up. Since I usually get my food to go, I'm there for the inexpensive roti, not anything else.

Great restaurant. I've been coming here for many years. This is a great family owned restaurant. They also have really affordable specials available all day my favourite is the jerk chicken with rice and peas, only $5 after tax! So delicious!!! Staff is friendly and everything is fresh.
