The tuna sashimi in the sashimi platter was good, but the sea urchin was not fresh at all and the portion was small. The other sashimi was just average. I wouldn’t recommend the shrimp tempura soba; it wasn’t worth trying. The monkfish liver was quite unique, though. The cheesecakes were standard, so they weren’t bad. It was a hot day, and I felt somewhat uncomfortable; I'm not sure if the AC was working. There was only one server, so he was quite busy attending to multiple tables. Overall, my experience was average, perhaps because I had higher expectations before visiting this restaurant.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was outstanding and offered great value, and the service was excellent as well. We opted for the winter special set menu, and I truly relished every dish. Among my top favorites were the soft shell crab and the yuzu cheesecake. This place is definitely a hidden gem and is worth checking out. We will definitely be returning!

A five-star rating doesn't do Aoyama Sushi justice; I would give it a perfect ten! The sashimi is consistently fresh, and the variety always brings me joy during every visit. The manager is great at providing recommendations. The staff are both professional and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home, yet the food is expertly prepared. I'm always delighted to dine at Aoyama Sushi, and I've recommended it to many of my new friends and clients for their sushi cravings.
