Lakeside Wood Fire Pizza - North Vernon

We stayed at Lakeside today while we went through North Vernon. This place is really a hidden gem. Our waitress was over friendly and the pizza was absolutely amazing. We had the rail bread and the railmaster (supreme) pizza. With the high heat in the wood stove, the pizzas cook in about four minutes and come with a light Char. This is taste – the pizzas are not burned. Great crust, a delicious sauce and fresh toppings that were plentiful without being overloaded. I recommend Lakeside to anyone looking for a great pizza in North Vernon. My only regret is not trying to make a slice of her freshly baked cheesecake or her homemade ice cream. We were just too crowded.

Great food! Great people! Great atmosphere! Today my first time was there, and it wasn't disappointed! The pizza and the rail bread were amazing! The owner and the staff were super friendly. All ingredients were fresh and all homemade, including dessert! My family had the homemade ice cream that was delicious and my cheesecake was one of the best I had ever eaten! You even made a special sandwich for my son! We will definitely be back a lot.

The staff and the owners are very friendly! Food is absolutely amazing!!! We went to eat as a family and my youngest child felt not the best due to a sore throat, the owner personally checked for us and even offered him ice on the house! One of the best family-friendly places where I was... anyone!

This place is amazing! Hands down the best pizza, I can't wait to come back and try more things on the menu. Don't forget to get Dessert!
