Vinam Vietnamese Cuisine

Not bad for fast food..... I have come to realize not all Vietnamese dishes are made the same though they are the same dishes. This comes down to where the cook originated and would have grown up eating it the same way. Anyhow, their food here is not bad, doesn't taste too westernized. Would love extra garlic in the fish sauce though. The ladies are friendly and I haven't had any problems in the past.

We've been going to this place for years. The same ladies have been serving up the same terrific salad rolls forever. It's kind of interesting when you think about it. They have this food stall at the market, they go there every day, they cheerfully make food for us all, then repeat over and over. Unlike so many restaurants they don't seem to have any desire to franchise, get rich & famous, sell out big. They just make great, affordable food every day. How cool is that? And how cool is it that you can get this food from their little, unassuming stall, then go sit outside & eat watching the best view of Vancouver. This for me is a totally authentic West Coast moment. Thanks ladies.

The food is delicious and the portions are huge for the price - any and all of the seafood soups or salad rolls are fantastic, and this place is a frequent

Okay, yeah, so I've never met a cuisine I didn't like, but Vietnamese food is a particular delight for me.

In this post-HST era, I manage to find myself coming back for more.
