Bidrage med feedbackI've been eating a lot of pizza lately and this place it top on my list. I wish I was in North Vancouver more!
We wanted to eat there but there was little room and we took her to the room. the pizza had no taste, pure salsa and with little cheese stains. I reclaimed because I thought they forgot the mozzarella. They took it and I was surprised because they added only scratched cheese on top. nasty.
We went to dinner. the atmosphere in the place was very cold, just like the person who attended us and the cook himself, so instead of staying for dinner there, we took the pizza to take. Even if they are of fine dough, Italian style, they know nothing: neither the tomato sauce, nor the ingredients, nor anything. It also cools quickly and, since mozzarella is not of good quality, it becomes an incommunicable mass. it was very expensive for the low quality of the product. I don't recommend it.
This small pizza place is right next to the Grouse Inn, and appears to be run by the same owners. You can eat inside - 4 or 5 tables, or on the covered terrace outside - 5 - 6 tables. Or order to go, or get delivery. Pizza was excellent - reminded me of last years trip to Italy. They also serve beer & wine.
We were staying at the Best Western across the street and saw this place. It's a small restaurant on the Grouse Inn property. I was surprised that is was not on tripadvisor or on the Grouse Inn website. Time to correct at least one of those issues....Saporita has great Italian thin crust pizza. We ended up eating there 3 times during our stay. Pizza is primarily what they make, no other real entrees available. But that's okay. Better to do one thing well than several no-so-well.
