The lady working the intercom was very rude, continuously interrupting and adding items I did not request. When I spoke to the manager about the issue, they offered me a free meal if I returned. However, upon my return, I was told that I was lying about the situation. The staff members have poor communication amongst themselves, resulting in numerous incorrect orders, missing items, and long wait times over the course of several months. Because of these ongoing issues, I have chosen to boycott this location. The service is truly atrocious, with unhelpful managers who struggle to assist with app-related matters and make promises they do not fulfill. Customers should allow themselves extra time when visiting this location to account for potential delays. In contrast, the North Shore Westview location has consistently courteous staff who rarely make order mistakes.
The restaurant is good, very clean. It's a McDonald's. They are consistent. The branch is always busy and the drive-through moves quickly.
McDonalds, is the place where you grew up and over time have come to expereince a consistency in food and management, well your in for a big Surprise at this Location!!!!! It is amazing that when you place your order, there is a level of expectation of them getting it right!!! Well Heaven forbid they got it wrong and you bring it to there attention, suddenly, YOU Ordered WRONG LOL Really????? I dont each cheese, never have, never will and yet they tell me that I got my order wrong!!!! Pretty Sad!!!!! I have decided to eat anywhere but there, LOL, not that they care, there McDonalds.
I am disappointed in the service at the McDonald's on 1219 Marine Dr in North Vancouver, BC. My family and I are regular customers, visiting at least twice a week. On August 28, 2019, I brought some overseas guests to this branch and encountered several issues. The Handicap washroom was locked, and when I asked the manager for the key, she questioned me in front of other customers. She also questioned why my disabled elderly guest couldn't use the regular washroom. When I pointed out that my guests were seated right in front of her, she still seemed skeptical. The manager then sent another employee with the key, who insisted on waiting to see who would use the washroom. This whole experience was embarrassing and unnecessary. It is clear that this branch has serious management issues and the staff need to reevaluate their attitudes. My overseas guests were shocked by the ordeal and it was disappointing to have to explain such behavior to them. McDonald's is known for providing quick and efficient service, but this branch did not meet those expectations.
I went there with my friend, we ordered a burger with fried chicken Patti in it through machine. After I came out of washroom, the manager force my friend to change the menu to grilled chicken patti sine they had to make it again. I was a little upset and I understood since I also work in some customer service workplace. I asked her politely if she can just change one of our fries size to larger from medium since we ordered two meals. She was glaring at me and saying NO loudly and turned me back on me and kept yelling at me that she was gonna call the police. I got SHOCKED cuz of HER BEHAVIOUR. IF SHE JUST SAID SHE CANT, I WOULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD AND WENT AWAY. And she said she is the MANAGER at the Mcdonalds. I will keep contacting to the Mcdonalds. this incident is unacceptable.
