I was still recovering from New Years celebrations (read - hangover) when my boyfriend suggested we try Hell Pizza. I would eat anything at this point and figured it would just be your typical run of the mill pizza. Boy was I wrong!! I ordered "Limbo" and it didn't disappoint! Caramelized onions, blue cheese, garlic! What could possibly have tasted better? To top it off we ordered coke in glass bottles and enjoyed the pizza fresh out of the oven in the restaurant. I can honestly say that pizza has been one of my best meals this year, so far. I would highly recommend ordering pizza from here, you won't regret it !
Located in the heart of Davie Village in Vancouver, this is a sweet place to grab a bite to eat before going out for the night, and it is awesome for delivery downtown. It's hard to write down everything that makes this place one of my favourites, but I'm going to try in list format. I eat here a lot, so pardon the detail. * Unique toppings: They have all your standard pizza toppings, but I personally feel it's better to be adventurous. You can get pine nuts, pickles, cranberry sauce, capers. All kinds of crazy stuff. * Cheese Variety: You can get everything from Brie, Blue Cheese, to smoked cheddar on your pizzas. Even Daiya vegan cheese. It is amazing. * You can customize your your pizzas to be vegan, lactose free, and even gluten free. * The large pizza boxes fold into a smaller coffin (yes, coffin... 'for your remains') when you're done to put your left over slices conveniently into the fridge... thereby avoiding the problem of large pizza boxes in the fridge. * The spice rating: I wish all pizza places had this. You can go no spice on your pizza if you want, but you can also choose from 6 levels of spice rating. The last being so very hot fresh cut chillis on the pizza. So good if you like adding some heat to your flavour. They also have a game called Pizza Roulette where they put a few drops of the hottest chilli sauce known to man on one slice of the pizza... with the tag, "it's free, but someone always pays". It makes eating pizza more interesting. * The vegetarian/vegan pizzas are actually made to be balanced vegetarian meals. They feature nuts, refried beans, and unique cheese and veg combos. This is vegetarian pizza heaven, conveniently located in hell. * The gluten free crust is actually good. They've figured out how to not make GF taste like cardboard, which based on past gluten free crust experiences elsewhere, seems like a miracle. It's great if you want to go have a 'za with celiac friends (or just GFers), because you can actually share.I personally love the Hell theme, and the staff are super friendly. It is a great place to eat in, or take out. Enjoy.PS. If you are at English Bay or Sunset beach during the summer, they deliver to the beach. You just have to give them an address across the street from the beach to meet you at when you call in.
My wife and I ordered a peperoni, peppers, and mushroom pie. It was delicious. Promptly delivered to our hotel, for a reasonable price.
We went here after a recommendation from our hotel (Listel) late on evening. The staff were really helpful and took the time to explain the ingredients to us. We tried 2 different pizzas and both were good. They also offer vegan base and toppings. They even tasted great cold the next morning!
