I particularly enjoyed the cozy seating with a couch and two chairs beside the gas fireplace. However, accommodating more than four people might be a bit challenging. It's best suited for two guests. The place can get busy, so if you plan to dine in, try to arrive before peak hours. **Food: 4** – If you're a fan of desserts, particularly gooey cinnamon buns, this is the place for you. They have an impressive selection of desserts—over 36 kinds of dessert bars and pastries! Their lunch menu includes simple options like soup (only one type available) and grilled sandwiches/paninis. If you appreciate good coffee, they serve Illy. We tried the tomato basil soup, which I found a bit salty. We also shared the spicy chicken sandwich; it wasn't very spicy, but I found it lacking in chicken and a bit dry. The sandwich was priced at around $15. Overall, it's a lovely local coffee shop worth visiting, whether you're in the Edgemont area or on your way to Grouse Mountain. It's definitely worth a detour, and there is free street parking available nearby.

I was quite disappointed with my experience yesterday. I typically love visiting this coffee shop for their fresh pastries. I ordered one of their delicious pastries and a PB&J to take away. Unfortunately, the paper bag was wet, and even though I brought this to the staff's attention, they didn't address my concern. To make things worse, the pastries ended up sticking to the bag, and I had to throw the whole thing away. Customer service is crucial in a coffee shop, and I've always had positive experiences here until now. Despite this incident, I still consider this my favorite spot, and as an Edgemont resident, I enjoy coming here to relax in such a cozy atmosphere.
