Bidrage med feedbackI recently stopped by Westholme Farm for two takeaway roast dinners and a pint, all for less than £20. Unfortunately, they only offer a three-course meal for dine-in customers. However, I found a more accommodating option at the Jolly Bowman, where I was able to get two Sunday lunches to go. They offered a choice of beef, pork, or chicken with mince dumplings in small, medium, or large portions. The meals were delicious, with generous servings of gravy on the side. The staff was friendly and I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be returning this Sunday for the mince dumplings.
I absolutely love coming to this restaurant now that they have a fabulous new menu with fresh, cooked food. There are lots of special events for families and the food is amazing. I would give the Sunday lunch a definite 12 out of 10. The staff are fabulous and I will definitely be back for more delicious food.
This restaurant is a typical 1960s style pub located in a residential area. They do not serve food and the atmosphere is lacking. The only customers seem to be elderly retired men. The beer is decent but overall, I would not choose to come back here.
My partner and I called for drinks, normally it’s sunny, you can sit outside, seating area nice. Staff friendly enough. It’s a locals pub, quite a mixture of customer. Nothing special just does for a pint in the sun.
Was a little run down before but much better after the refit. Staff are friendly and good choice of beers.give It a go if your in wallsend
