Horrible for families. Don’t go. Worst service ever. Horrible to babies and staff scared of manager.

Garlic bread to share fabulous, thin crust, we all had filet steak with prawns and chilli off the specials board. Very tasty , good price. Bottle of house red £13.99 unbelievably good ! Cheap and cheerful type of place. We all had our steak cooked differently from rare to well done and they all arrived at the same time cooked to perfection, some high end places struggle with that! Definitely recommend, well done that Chef

Sorry guys, the galic bread was great, thin cripy nicely done but my pasta was awful, I ordered linguine and got spaghetti, the sauce was essentially water that had been shown a tomato and the seafood like rubber. Worst of all a small glass of house white, takes a lot for me to give up on the wine (seriously revolting) and the food. Maybe I should have gone for pizza? For the price I actually got a slice of my companions garlic bread and a few forks of pasta. We both tasted the wine as well, it wasn’t just me.

Terrible service. Me and my partner where having dinner with our newborn baby. We hadn 't finished our meal and my partner was just walking around with our baby trying to stop her crying, then all of a sudden they came over and said you have you leave because yous are intoxicated! And made us leave! Whitley bay is a lovely place but I 'll not return to this restaurant

I called ahead to make a reservation and inquire about gluten free options. I was informed that they offer gluten free pasta and pizza, and that other dishes could be adapted. When we arrived at our reserved time, the restaurant handed us menus. The furniture appeared worn out and the leather on the chairs was peeling off. We ordered drinks, but it took 20 minutes for someone to come and take our food order. Despite several staff members standing around, only one was taking orders. When I finally placed my food order, I was disappointed to learn that the only gluten free option was pasta, as they did not offer gluten free pizza bases. I ordered the gluten free carbonara, but found the bacon to be chewy. Despite our glasses being empty, no one asked if we wanted more drinks. When I inquired about gluten free desserts, I was informed after 10 minutes that they did not have any options available. We paid the bill and went elsewhere for desserts and drinks.
