Bidrage med feedbackFour of us sat in the february on Saturday night. we started with some refreshing peronis and a glass prosecco. for the appetizers we divided the chicken, spinat and mozzarella arancini balls 13), salt and pfeffer tintenfisch 10) and a rockkete salat 17). that was all fresh and tasty and a good opportunity to start the meal. for my main course I choose the spaghetti bolognese with ragu and pecorino cheese 25). the other all choose fish dishes, including the salmon with a green salad 33), seafood linguine 26) and a “Cacciucco alla livornese” 29), which is a seafood medley with roasted brot. my pasta was boiled “al dente” just as I like it, with a...read more
I use the fork festival where you can get 50% of your bill in selected restaurants in sydney. I couldn't believe it first, but don't ask this amazing perk. I've used thefork (before dimmi) already a past and I'm a big fan! I caught myself with my foodie bestie over pizza and pasta in the via della spiga. the pizza was very recommended and I have heard since then, also its pasta. I can agree that both the pizza base is so thin and crispy (my favorite) with the perfect amount of toppings. I dare to say the pizza of via della spiga was better than some pizzas we tried in italia.
Fun and delicious. this place is not beautiful, but it is good. the lunch menu is incredibly valuable and the owners remember everything from one visit to the next. relax, they have some unpretentious pasta, pizza or salad and some delicious wine or imported beer.
The service at this restaurant was friendly and efficient. I absolutely loved the pizza I ordered, it was sensational. However, the dessert I ordered (similar to a mauskuchen) was not fresh and did not meet the same quality standards. I would definitely return to this restaurant, but solely for the pizza. The location is very convenient.
Their menu said small pizza so I ordered a bruschetta as well, just to be safe. I liked the latter, drenched as it was in olive oil and garlic. The veggie pizza had all the promised toppings but tasted sad, anyone who's had bad takeout pizza knows what that is. It was also a big 10 pizza. Count me lucky I guess
