Bidrage med feedbackI visited a café called U2 in North Sydney based on a recommendation from a colleague. I was immediately drawn to the café because I am a fan of the band U2. The menu featured mostly American-style sandwiches, which made it difficult for me to decide what to order. Should I try the Cubano? The Pulled Pork? The U2 Reuben? Maybe the Poboy? After much contemplation, I decided to order two sandwiches - the Reuben and the Fidel Castro. Both sandwiches were huge, so I only ate half of each. The Reuben, made with dark rye bread, was absolutely delicious. The Fidel Castro, made with Foccacia bread and filled with mojo pork, salami, tomato, onions, pickles, cheese, and chipotle sauce, was grilled to perfection with a nice crisp exterior and soft interior. I reheated the leftovers for dinner and my girlfriend loved it so much that she made me promise to bring more home the next day. Needless to say, I became addicted to both U2 the café and the band.
I frequently travel to North Sydney for work conferences and meetings, so I always make it a priority to find a good place for lunch. Having lived in America, I developed a love for sandwiches and was thrilled to discover U2 Café while searching for a new sandwich spot. Their selection impressed me, and after trying their Reuben, I was hooked - it was the best I've ever had, even compared to those in New York. It's no wonder I make a point to visit every time I have a meeting in North Sydney. Each sandwich I've tried has been excellent, and I am eagerly anticipating my next visit.
I want to thank Officeworks for helping me discover The Speedy Oriental, who I can only imagine is Asia's equivalent to Speedy Gonzales.
