Bidrage med feedbackThey have a lunch for around 12 US dollars, which are their rice with chicken / beef / vegies, etc., because there is an extended menu with fish, pork belly, appetizers, currys and other traditional Thai choices Pad Thai, etc. Grief On this occasion, I tried the jungle curry, which was spicy, and yet Fad. I could taste that the chicken was once frozen, and there was no depth. I was disappointed, but the glazed pork belly of my colleague looked delicious! (And he said it was.) Grief The place is a nice, small restaurant (it has been renovated, thus looks) for lunch, though you are not special if you do not use special, to pay the tooth prices. Bookings for larger groups, BYO available. You do not accept AMEX cards.
I had lunch at this restaurant today and ordered tom yum with prawns, pad thai, and green curry with chicken. We also decided to try their garlic bread since it was not commonly found on the menu of this type of restaurant. The food was actually quite good and the place had a cozy atmosphere, although it felt more like a cafe than a casual restaurant. However, the prices were high for the portion sizes. Unfortunately, the customer service was not friendly and they were pushy, which left me regretting my choice to eat here for lunch.
My party and I decided to have Friday night dinner at this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The fact that they offer BYO is a definite plus. The food was fantastic - authentic, fresh, and bursting with flavor and spice. We ordered a variety of dishes including satay chicken, curry puffs, massaman curry, fried rice, pad see ew, squid, chilli basil chicken, roti, and rice. Everything was delicious and we couldn't get enough. The only downside was that the service could have been better.
They have lunch specials for around $12 which are your rice with chicken/beef/vegies, etc. On top of that, for sit in diners, there is an extended menu with fish, pork belly, starters, curries and other traditional thai choices like pad thai, etc..On this occasion, I tried the jungle curry which was spicy yet bland. I could taste that the chicken was once frozen and it lacked any depth. I was disappointed however my colleague's glazed pork belly looked delicious! (And he said it was.) The place is a nice little restaurant (it has been renovated so looks quite fancy now) for lunch although if you weren't going for a special, be prepared to pay dinner prices. People are going to think my reviews of this place are like a yo yo! Simple and Irresistible is *back* to being a typical Thai restaurant, with a few
