Bidrage med feedbackI met my wife here after a weight session at the local gym. I was hungry and thirsty. We ordered at the counter and sat inside. The cafe was super busy with many people stopping for breakfast. I ordered an omelette with cheese, onion and tomato and my wife ordered scrambled eggs on toast with a side of spinach. I ordered a large soy latte and my wife ordered a pot of Earl Grey Tea with milk. The drinks came quickly, my coffee was perfect. Our meals were tasty and delicious. On a busy Saturday morning, the staff were warm friendly and helpful, especially the chap behind the counter, who made sure of our order and spoke clearly and was cheerfully welcoming. I must say he gave us a positive feeling for the meal to come. The breakfast came to $35.00 which is at our expectation in this location. Highly recommended.
I found this beautiful cafe whilst in Sydney from NZ for an operation and I'm so glad I did from the outset the staff we're amazingly friendly and helpful the coffee would have to be the best I've had in Australia and the food has the wow factor also the prices put all the other cafe's nearby to shame, I can't say enough about Dan's Cafe except for you owe it to your desire for great coffee and food to come here.
Little gem hidden in North Sydney! Great food, great coffee and great atmosphere! The owners really make you feel like you're having breakfast at their home!
We had a walk in the morning and looked for somewhere for breakfast. We got the 'heads up' from a local sitting out the front enjoying his coffee. He was right. This little cafe was warm, friendly, busy and served good food. We ate the bruschetta special with smashed avocado, eggs and red onion and the big breakfast. We enjoyed freshly squeezed mixed juices and followed breakfast with coffees. The banter between the locals and the staff highlighted the fact that this place was well patronised by regulars. .The service was efficient with friendly staff. This was a good find thanks to local knowledge.
In North Sydney for business. Getting our of the hotel/conference centre is important and a short stroll along Ridge Street led us the Dan's Café and Bar. On checking out the menu a local having a coffee out the front recommended the café. With nothing to lose and looking for a breakfast escape we wandered in.We were greeted and given menus in a fashion that was warm and friendly. In fact the waitress laughed and bantered with obvious regulars - another good sign.We order freshly squeezed juice and smoothies from the comprehensive blackboard. Dan's big breakfast was well presented, 'big' and delightful. While the specials board had bruschetta with eggs, smashed avocado, red onion and smoked salmon and it was as good as it sounds. We were tipped into their coffees and they didn't disappoint. Dan, apparently the barista, and his staff have a café that is warm and friendly, with great food and service. In the busyness of work this was a find. It is understandable it has regulars.
