Bittersweet - North Sydney

Despite the contradictory name of the cafe, the macadamia caramel tart I got from here was divine. I'm not big on caramel as it tends to be too sweet and is easily stuck to the teeth. But this wasn't the case for my tart, which was topped with a decent amount of nuts, a gooey caramel filling and a shortcrust pastry kind of base. It tasted even better after a few hours chilling in the fridge. The shop also serves good looking sandwiches which I will have to come back for another time.

Great Coffee!. Love the coffee at this place, it is always a must. The baristas are friendly and the coffee is always the best and never lets me down.

Haven't been here for a while, they've changed all the furniture and the staff outfits, very cool and funky. Coffee and food are still fantastic.! I visited this café on Monday morning for breakfast, and it was quite popular for its coffee. They offer breakfast options for both dining in and takeaway, along with pastries and wraps. However, I found the bacon and sausage to be a bit too oily. It would have been nice if the wrap had come with BBQ sauce or another type of sauce for added flavor. On a positive note, the prices were reasonable compared to other cafés in North Sydney, and the service was excellent.

Nestled in the bustling and ever-evolving landscape of North Sydney is this quaint little café. I decided to try the beef burger for lunch (I know, shocking choice!). To my delight, the burger arrived quickly, and I was genuinely impressed by its size and juiciness. My husband opted for his with fries. This was hands down the best $10.90 I've spent in quite a while! The burger was generous, flavorful, and satisfying. I've paid double that elsewhere and haven't been nearly as pleased. While you won't find any frills here, this straightforward café serves up delicious food at reasonable prices to the busy corporate lunch crowd. I'll definitely be returning!
