The Queens Head Cullercoats

A pub on the road between Tynemouth and Whitley Bay with a small parking lot behind it. We tried the food a few years ago, probably new owners now. Tried the bar this time, not so big, but, your typical old place. The restaurant I remember is quite large and looks like it was completely upgraded to look through the glass in the door. Friendly helpful staff. Outside seat and dog friendly.

Immersed for food, nothing as expected for a small pub by the sea. Food was amazing, the lamb was the best I cost and my partner is a chef and worked at some top places! Would be very recommended and planned to come back soon!

Good food and a decent pint. We had a guard here and the service was fantastic. I couldn't mistake it and made the day nice for a nice farewell with friends and family.

Ate here twice this weekend and the food was fabulous. Too much on the Saturday night I had to ask for a doggy bag as it would have been a waste to leave it. Sunday lunch I did manage to finish it and was able to eat dessert. Very busy place so reservation a must especially Sunday. Will definitely be back
