Bidrage med feedbackI have been a butter chicken addict since the late 1990s (because I didn 't like spicy food growing up and this is a very mild dish , so I know my butter chicken! I have tried it in so many different places but it is only...this place that keeps me coming back for more time and time again. The owner Sampath (I think that is his name, because I have always nicknamed him 'Butter Chicken ' , is a friendly man who will often chat with you at length when there aren 't other customers to serve. Now the butter chicken isn 't the only dish they serve, their freshly made naans are delicious, and generous portions of rice and meat (eating here are the largest I have seen in Sydney. Of course when doing takeaway, they fill the large plastic container to the top which is still a generous serve none the less. And all this for under $10 is fair, especially when you see the rip-off prices being charged by their 'food ' competitors at this new Macquarie Centre (rent must be so expensive for tenants . I am the butter chicken expert, so I shall describe their dish as one that is NOT thick with excess cream, has just the right amount to give it a consistent texture. All Indian curries in this fast food brand do have a strong focus on their special sauces. This sauce mixes well with the yellow saffron rice that they serve or with the naan bread. The meat is always cooked fresh, and served hot-hot. Tender succulent thigh pieces are used. Mind you, their chicken tikka pieces, lamb and beef curry dishes are also very scrumptious. I like all of their curries, but I 've listed the dishes I can 't stop coming back to. If you are not into lassi 's or other drinks Sampath has to offer, spin around and get a tropical frosty crushy from Donut King, or a Mint Choc Krushie from the adjacent KFC. Or a $1 Frozen Coke from Hungry Jacks. These kinds of sugary cold drinks go well (for me with these dishes. Very filling, so perhaps share with another if you aren 't a greedy pig like I am!! I love food! :
I ordered a curry with rice for takeaway, specifically the butter chicken. Upon eating it, I noticed that the portion was mostly rice with very little chicken. It seemed like the server intentionally skimped on the chicken, leaving space for more in the container. For the price of $10.90, with the actual cost of rice being minimal, this felt like a dishonest way to increase profits. The owner should make sure their staff are trained properly to avoid upsetting loyal customers like myself. During a lockdown, it's disappointing to see a lack of effort in customer service. I recommend choosing from the many other food options available at Macquarie Centre for better value. Avoid this place if you want a satisfying meal.
The food at this restaurant was tasty, but the service was unprofessional and rude. When I tried to pay for my meal, I was told that their credit card machine was not working and they couldn't process my payment. Be cautious when dealing with this establishment.
This restaurant is a popular Indian eatery located in Macquarie Centre. The food is delicious, but the portion sizes are smaller than at Chinese restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the chicken masala dish.
If they like Indian food, this is one of their better takeaway options in the food dish at macquarie centre. its meals are tasteful, inexpensive (at least for macquarie centre) and a decent size. Standard offers are two veggie curries with rice is $10,50;... two meat curries with rice is $11,50 they will certainly not feel hungry afterwards. it is not a seat in the restaurant that they take their food in a plastic container or take on a paper plate and then fight for a table in a very busy food dish.
