I had a donut fix. I picked up a couple of Boston cream donuts. Boston cream are the ones /w cream inside chocolate frosting on top.
I arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes before closing time, hoping to grab a drink. I waited in line for 2 minutes while the person ahead of me was getting ice cream. When it was finally my turn, the guy working with a girl told me that the ice cream customers were the last ones they would serve because they were closing soon. He could have informed me of this while I was already waiting in line. Additionally, it appeared that the employee was being overly friendly with the girl and the lady with the ice cream. Despite my initial fondness for this shop, I have no intentions of returning after this experience. The employees on duty on 2-10-2022 were lazy and uninterested in taking my order, claiming they were already closed. It was a disappointing and frustrating visit.
The elderly woman who seems to be a manager is extremely rude and disrespectful towards her own team members. I ordered a strawberry smoothie but they were out of it, so they offered me a mango smoothie instead. I had already paid, so I agreed. However, when I tried it, I didn't like it and asked if I could exchange it for a different drink. A male employee suggested a tropical smoothie (not on the menu) and I agreed. As he began making it, the woman questioned him and later informed me that I couldn't have it because I had chosen mango. I explained that I was unaware of another option since it wasn't listed on the menu. I had returned the mango smoothie to avoid receiving both, but she was still very rude to me. I have experience working in the fast food industry, so I understand that customer complaints can be frustrating at times. I asked politely and even returned the smoothie to avoid wasting it, yet she insisted they couldn't make another one. I was going to throw it away regardless, so why couldn't they provide a different drink for the money I had paid? I wasn't asking for a free drink. I was not upset about the situation itself, but rather how the woman treated me when all I did was ask politely. If she doesn't want to work in customer service, she should consider a different job, as this is not the first time I or other customers have been spoken to rudely by her.
Each time I come up here they mess up my order whether they make my drink wrong, my food be cold,or my milkshake be watery it never fails ????
