Rufe Snow Cafe - North Richland Hills

The food was good. Pancakes with crispy edges and good bacon. The lady that served me was very nice and welcoming. An added plus is that they serve breakfast all day. The only down side was that the place had a weird smell to it. Not gross just like a fry oil smell. Other than that it was good.

Just ate breakfast with my wife at this restaurant. It used to be Mount Top Cafe but know known as Texan Cafe. Went there on a Saturday morning and it was nearly empty. We were allowed to seat where we wanted and the wait person was very prompt and friendly. They have a pretty extensive menu and have lunch and dinner specials as well. I was very pleasantly surprised as the service was quick, the breakfasts were promptly served and very tasty. And the prices are very reasonable. I plan to return again and likely for a lunch or dinner to try one of their specialties for those meals. My only concern is that since they were empty, I worried that they may not be able to sty in business long. Great breakfasts, great prices, and quick and friendly service. MUCH better than my experiences at the IHOP up the street on Rufe Snow and much better prices than other, more crowded venues. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Had a great breakfast here this morning. Fast and friendly service. It appears most of the negative reviews are for the previous owners. I plan to return to try something off the lunch menu next time.
