Kanpai Japanese Steak Sushi

First and last visit. And it's not because of the taste it is because of the size. This is my plate BEFORE I took a bite! It's halfway. We go to to tons of Japanese steakhouses and this is the least amount of food I've ever got on one. Usually it is enough to take home and have another meal. That was hardly enough to call a dinner. The 6 year old beside me, who got a child's meal, got the same amount of food to cry loud. That was ridiculous.

If it weren't for the issues with the service, I would give this restaurant a five-star rating. The food is absolutely delicious, and I often rave about it. However, our server had a poor attitude; she seemed annoyed when we requested soup. The chef was great, but I didn't appreciate being pressured into leaving a mandatory tip. I dislike feeling forced to choose between generosity and my own comfort. Additionally, paying $30 for a plate of food feels excessive—$14 would be more reasonable. Overall, the cuisine is fantastic, but the service and prices have left me wanting.

Wow, this restaurant was incredible! The staff and the chef were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was delectable, and the atmosphere was stunning as well!

Soup was good 1. cup sweet tea good salad ok. Get ready to open my fork, it was very dirty seemed unwashed. The picture is after I tried to wipe it off. Tea was very upset after the first cup. Time for the cook to cook our food. Very unmotivated (for me a part of walking to Hibachi is a cook that at least pretends to be happy and speaks with you and is very animated) He just stood there and hardly moved a lot of entertainment. Food also lacked taste. The price was not bad for the amount of food. I know Hibachi's up there for prizes, but for me I'm going to the show.

This was my first visit, and it certainly won’t be my last. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. I enjoyed the scallops and chicken, while my boyfriend opted for just the chicken. Our meal was accompanied by a delightful onion soup, a side salad, and a selection of dressings. The chef was amusing and truly entertaining, engaging well with everyone. I will definitely be coming back!
