Bidrage med feedbackI was in Jordan Point since I bought my boat in June 2003. From the beginning, the owners were friendly, helpfully bent over backwards to facilitate this rookie?s entry into the boat. Even after the devastation of Hurricane Isabel, by the reconstruction, the owners were more than accommodating. The bathrooms are good. Pool was almost always available and well maintained as one would expect. Yeah, the things break and get out of service. You're dealing with it. As with any change in property, things will and should change. It's naive to expect something else. In my opinion, the new management is very helpful. They contain many requests, and if there is a conflict, we find a sensible resolution. Everyone should expect it. I saw a lot in my 18 years. The great majority was great. I checked other marinas, including those like him in Tidewater area. If you live in the center of VA, own a boat, want convenient access to it and the water, and enjoy the company of how spirited boat owners, there is no better place on the upper James. In the end, it's what you do. Good or bad, it's not this marina property or staff, it's us, the boat owner? There's no better place for me.
An event here. River Breezes, Sunset and happy staff. Great parking Will definitely be back
I stopped an evening to start my kayaking. The person in the store was very friendly and accused me of 5 dollars that seemed appropriate. I could start from the beautiful white sandy beach next to the huge parking lot. If you go on the short row of houses towards Indian Point, come on a fantastic section of river banks, which is forested on the edge with clean pebble beaches. Around the point is a small and picturesque river to explore.
Jordan Point Marina was an excellent experience until the new owner came. I had hoped that property would not change the level of customer service, but I was so wrong. I had stored my boat in this marina in the last 2 years, and this year I decided to upgrade to an elevator slip. I was so happy when I was offered the retreat in January 2021. I pay for the whole year. Early enough before I enjoy the wet slip with the lift, I was informed that I must remove the trailer by the end of March, as there are planned constructions in the boatyard. The agreement was for the wet slip with the dry slip for the trailer. I understand that the new owner plans to modernize the boatyard, but you can't change the rules while you play. It's just NOT good. Be aware, people who have come here for years, there are changes, and unfortunately not good for you.
Great relaxing place to go if you love being around the water. Very nice atmosphere and very clean. They have a small snack bar that makes good hot dogs. Outside eating areas are very nice. Staff very pleasant in snack shop and store area. Weather could have been better but still had a very enjoyable lunch.
