Subway - North Norfolk

The estimated delivery time was 40 to 50 minutes, but the food arrived in just 10 minutes. Everything was excellent. We will definitely be using this service again. Much better than McDonald's, where you can wait 10 minutes just for a cappuccino.

Today, my colleague and I visited Subway in Cromer. Our usual server, Emma, was training a new girl. The food was made exactly as requested and both girls provided excellent service.

The food at this Subway is what you would expect - decent quality at a reasonable price. However, they often run out of 'hearty Italian' bread, which is disappointing. The biggest downside of this location is the staff; they are very dismissive and unfriendly. It is rare to receive a greeting or a 'please' and 'thank you', as they act as if they are doing you a favor by serving you. The only exception is Piotr, who I believe is the manager. He is friendly, always willing to chat, and goes above and beyond to help. The rest of the staff could definitely learn from his example.

Have been visiting this subway for years having lived in Norfolk for over 10 years and am never disappointed with the service nor the quality . The staff are always accommodating and helpful. I worked in the hospitality trade for 15 years prior to becoming a key worker and making sure people live, my motto in my role is to give people what they need not what they want . If something is a lifestyle choice then one must accept that it’s your lifestyle no one else’s and if it’s a need and put across as a allergy with severe side affects then it would be attended too. We have all been living through a pandemic where the population hasn’t been in a position to enjoy nor live normal lives and having places open to grab a bite on the run or before a shop when it’s all freshly prepared is a real treat but situations I have been in help me as a human being appreciate all things in life and having a place like subway locally has been a treat for me for many years , especially the reasonable prices for fresh produce ! I appreciate as well as my family all your hard work Matt and the team ! Thank you our subway and delicious nachos didn’t touch sides in the sunshine ! Very professional had survived the lunch rush and smiling didn’t miss any ingredient that we had requested . Thanks again

I visited Cromer Subway a couple of weeks ago and noticed some chocolate orange cookies in a box which stated ‘Vegan’. I bought a pack and ate one at the time and just taken the rest out of my cupboard to either eat or throw depending on their condition only to find they contain BUTTER, MILK and EGG. Thankfully I’m not dairy intolerant but had I been there could have been serious consequences. Obviously a member of staff put the packet in there. Clearly they don’t train their staff properly to understand the difference between vegan and not vegan and the seriousness of these consequences.
