King Jerk - North Miami

As a lily white honky from a potato farm in Idaho, I felt so out of place Rolling up to order dinner here. My wife and I were the only tourists in a 2 mile radius.We got some weird looks but they were very kind!The food here, is truly amazing! Idk if they truly smoke with pimento wood, but it sure tasted like it!The seasoning was thick and the char was perfect.The sauce is tangy with a small kick but was bursting with flavor!The sides all needed some salt, but we carry that with us so it wasn't a big deal at all.Next time we're back in Miami we'll definitely be coming here to eat.Best j chicken we've had in the states!

This food truck is located next to a car repair shop, but it's truly iconic! My top two spots for jerk outside of Jamaica are King J and Chef Tally. King J is a bit milder, which makes it a great choice if you're ordering for a group. It’s a guaranteed hit!

The brown stew chicken was not tender and had an old, dry flavor. The macaroni was completely unappetizing, and the sweet potatoes had no taste at all. I won't be ordering from here again.

This is something I did not want to post being king jerk is like a friend but I would rather be honest at this point and time! I've eaten here at least 3 times in the last year. And I must say the taste just seemed to get worst each time! But this last time takes the cake! Everything was dry ? chicken rice cabbage all were dry with no season any where to be found! Thought I was at Boston Market but at least you taste some flavor. King Jerk food was like eating cardboard especially the chicken with the skin that couldn't be chewed which you see in picture! It was a waste of my money. Yall have to do better! I will be returning to give an update

The food was incredibly delicious and fresh! It was the best jerk chicken I've ever tasted, and the service was just as outstanding! A very friendly gentleman assisted us!
