Outback Steakhouse - North Miami Beach

My friend and I have lunch at this Outback restaurant several times a month. The service is always excellent and the food is delicious.

I noticed that there were tables set up in the dining room to the right of the door, with a server working them, but the hostess did not offer us those tables either. Instead, she stood in front of us for 9 minutes, seemingly uninterested in seating a party of three in an empty restaurant. I was left confused as to why the hostess was refusing to assist us, especially since I was not being rude or causing any problems. I have dined at this restaurant multiple times over the past two decades, but after this experience, I will not be returning. I will also be advising my friends and neighbors in North Miami Beach, Sunny Isles Beach, and Aventura to avoid this establishment. The lack of service I received was disappointing and I felt that the hostess was indifferent and unprofessional. I question the training that this company provides its staff to allow such behavior. I urge others to see the images below to understand the situation and the individual responsible for this poor service. It was a terrible experience.

The burnt bread and mashed potatoes were inedible, the ribs were so tough they could be used as a weapon. The sauce had a strange odor and a bitter taste. The vegetables seemed artificial, not real. The salad was incredibly salty. The chicken and shrimp pasta lacked substance. I would rate this experience a negative 1.

We have come to this outback for many years and honestly, it has been met or missed many times. last night was exceptional! good enough that led me to leave this evaluation. my party of 7 has long waited for duffy’s and went outback. it was quite late, but the hostess was amazing. had some fun mad at us for the choice of duffys first, but we are now glad that the wait was too long and hot in duffy’s. they sat our party and we were quickly greeted by giovanni. he was great! much fun and very accommodating. I know they were out of fosters, but we did. the food was good and we were there the last few times. last time we sat at the bar and the bartender was also very helpful. so great job youngs and management. this place stands with the great reviews that I have read at a time and a range that the service in the rule sub par.

With COVID we haven’t been out very much. Went in to have dinner. The atmosphere and host were very welcoming! Our servers, Jessica and Cody, were very accommodating and made our evening so enjoyable! The manager, I think her name is Celia, even came over to check if we were enjoying our meals. Great staff! I highly recommend for a casual evening out!
