The Plantbase Store - North London

We are very pleased to have discovered this chain of supermarkets. They are not fully vegan (nor fully vegetarian) but they have a wide range of vegan foods with an East Asian focus. For a few vegans who eat a lot of Japanese Korean Viet food at home, this place was a rescue island.

Was so surprised to find the vegan selection in this Asian supermarket in Camden, there are shelves full of vegan specialties from Asia like various types of fake beef and pig, Japanese noodles and Jackfruit products. I was really impressed by the freezers and the vegan bungalows, sweets and snacks.

I love the Plantbase Store. Funny enough, I was in this place yesterday and saw it as a new listing on HC today. This location is great, but it is much smaller than the other sites of the Plantbase Store. This is especially in the same business as Longdan, so go to Longdan and look for the Plantbase section on the right. Plantbase carries loads of vegan products and is not only focused on Asian foods. Here you will find all kinds of clamps such as vegan cheese, milk, tofu, sauces, desserts, etc., etc.... you also have an amazing selection of packaged rugs to choose. This is a great place to shop.

We are thrilled to have found this chain of supermarkets. While they are not completely vegan or vegetarian, they offer a wide variety of vegan food with a focus on East Asian cuisine. As frequent consumers of Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese food at home, this place was a refreshing discovery for us vegans.
