Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant lacks a lounge and feels more like a pub with rooms. The food is basic and served in a separate building. The menu may vary if on a deal, with basic options like chips and a simple dish. The rooms are small, with the bed against the wall and no space for chairs or bedside tables.
I have dined at this restaurant twice in the past few weeks. During my first visit, my party of four enjoyed the ham, pepperoni, mushroom, and cheese calzone, which was generously sized and served with a delicious tomato sauce. I opted for the lasagne, and while the portion size was small compared to the calzones, it was the most delicious lasagne I have ever had. On my most recent visit with just one other person, we started with a tomato and chilli garlic bread, featuring flavorful Italian chillies (be sure to specify your spice preference when ordering). I requested the calzone without pepperoni, and the staff offered a substitute. The other diner chose the risotto, paired with a nice Chianti and a tasty side of spinach cooked with chili and lemon. The menu offers a variety of options, with lovely pizzas and pasta dishes. I plan to dine here again as it offers good value for money.
The pizza at this restaurant is large and cooked in a real wood-fired oven. They also serve good, fresh beer, and the owner keeps a well-stocked cellar. The restaurant provides a safe environment for social distancing during the pandemic, which is in contrast to many others.
Welcome, good beer and excellent accommodation. already a great place to visit, which becomes even better when the pizza restaurant opens in a few weeks.
Great to have owners back. beautiful decoration. good selection of drinks especially gin.
