Bidrage med feedbackThis morning, I visited Normandy Park with my daughter and great-grandson. The park was well-maintained and we enjoyed a lovely walk in the sunshine, followed by a visit to the cafe.
Our main issue was with the café. We were quite hungry when we arrived around 13:15, but it took about 50 minutes from ordering to receiving our simple meals. The café was somewhat busy, but not overly so. Unfortunately, our food order was also taken incorrectly, but we were too hungry to send it back. Despite these challenges, the food itself was decent once it finally arrived. This delayed our exploration of the area and we had to rush through everything before it got dark and they closed.
I had a great time exploring the grounds of the restaurant for a few hours. I enjoyed the interior of the restaurant and checking out the various exhibits. It was a pleasant afternoon overall.
This is a lovely little museum with lots of interesting things to see. There’s currently an exhibition on about tv film set costumes which is interesting. The staff are lovely and friendly and very helpful.
Home cooked food, always lovely. Dairy free option for hot drinks. Plates always emptied by children, and adults.
