Tc Bonez - North Liberty

T.C. Bonez, which operates a bbq food truck and catering, this summer started serving on the weekends for takeout and dine 'in ' at their covered patio along Mehaffey Bridge Rd. Fantastic meats! They have a Sampler (ribs, brisket, chicken, sides) which is a must-try, along with meals consisting of a sandwich of any of their meats along with sides, or tacos with any of their meats. Their cornbread is just right, not too dry or too oily, and the mac cheese and smoked gouda potatoes are tasty as well. Keep an eye on their social media since they have specials from time to time posted there (hello, pulled pork nachos) as well as their location if they are using the food truck. I was worried after the loss of another bbq place recently in North Liberty and am so happy to have found T.C. Bonez this summer!

Amazing food! Had the brisket tacos and Gouda potatoes. The homemade mango pico is my new fave!!

My family seeks out BBQ everywhere we travel. The brisket I had from TC Bonez rivals my all time favorite (from a very well known place in Kansas City). Fantastic variety of delicious sides as well.

So delicious!! Had the sampler with slaw, potatoes, and mac and everything was delicious! Everything was even 2 and 5 year old approved and we have some picky eaters!! ?? Thank you James!!

Want to thank you again for bringing your food truck to the Mechanicsville Fire Department's 125th Celebration! I loved your chicken sandwich and mac and cheese; husband loved the ribs and beans. Everyone I spoke with said it was great!
