Millside Tavern - North Las Vegas

I would definitely return if I lived closer! After a short visit to the VA Hospital about ten minutes away, my small group decided to grab lunch. A Yelp search led us to Millside Tavern. The atmosphere at Millside is bright, open, and airy, with great ventilation—we barely noticed a couple of smokers nearby. There was plenty of light to easily read the surprisingly diverse menu, and it was quiet enough to have a conversation at a normal speaking volume. The food is excellent; however, it did take a little while to arrive.

I had an exceptional experience thanks to the bartender, who demonstrated remarkable attention to detail. She noticed that I bank with USAA and kindly offered me a military discount. The food was fantastic! I ordered the Cobb Salad, and it was by far the best I've had compared to similar dishes at other places. The salad was fresh and crisp, even with a double order of grilled chicken, unlike other places where the salads tend to be wilted. A big shoutout to the kitchen staff for their wonderful work and to bartender Sheri for her outstanding service!

I wanted to stay close to home and take care of some errands, so I decided to stop by for dinner. Sean was the bartender and he was incredibly attentive. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which was delicious, along with some sliders and a couple of iced teas. The prices were reasonable and the food was excellent tonight. I’ll definitely have to come back on a weekday during happy hour!

Great neighborhood bar to watch all your sporting events and play pool as well as video poker. During the morning and afternoon they have breakfast and lunch the sliders are good and a large selection of beers!!
