Bidrage med feedbackPaid $7.40 for a piece of cake, when it arrived at our table it was not any of the 6 pieces of cake we saw in the front counter, it was a piece from out the back. It was also missing half the topping on top of the cake. I asked for another piece, they asked if I was happy to have cream put over the missing topping. I said no, I would like another piece. They went off, got me a piece from the cake counter display and slid it onto our table in a very average way. Then I spotted the staff holding up the bit of cake and talking/laughing about it, in another language.Very average experience. Won’t come back.
Service non existent. Staff ignored customers at counter and service assistant rolled her eyes at customer's request. Not worth it...
I ordered fish and chips, but there were a lot of bones in the dish. I have an 18-month-old who loves fish, and I'm understandably concerned about her safety. I took the dish back to the staff to point out the bones, but unfortunately, they didn't offer any apology. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
I ordered freshly baked waffles, but unfortunately, they were undercooked. When I brought this to their attention, they offered me a replacement. However, the new waffles did not taste like any I had had before. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager, but he simply offered me another one without apologizing. I didn't want another waffle, and we were short on time. The manager’s attitude was quite disrespectful and impolite. As he placed a third plate of waffles in front of me, he said something like, "Try this; if you still don't think it tastes like the first one, then it’s just not your type." How could he say that to a customer? It’s clear to me that he needs better training in customer service.
We waited 40 minutes for breakfast. I understand they were short-staffed, but it would have been helpful to know that when I placed my order. We could have used that time to do some shopping instead of just sitting there with nothing to do. I also prefer to have my coffee served with my meal, and it would have been nice if we had been asked about that. What really frustrated me was seeing people who ordered after us receive their meals while we were left sitting there with empty coffee cups. That doesn’t seem to be related to the staffing issue.
