Veg - NORTH HOBART

Went here with my daughter for lunch and we both chose the same salad in a bowl - black beans, brown rice, salad, corn chips, kale chips and sauces. Wonderful vego food. Ably assisted by turmeric lattes which had been highly recommended. The also do wraps which would be my choice for next time. Good service and industrial strength atmosphere from the decor in a largish space. I am not a vego (or a veggie) but places like this make me think about converting.Healthy without sacrificing taste.

Amazing food and service,really easy to find,super friendly staff, and delicious healthy meals for everyone. And i had the best dessert of my life: warm sticky date. absolutely fantastic!

I could go on for days about this place - great modern atmosphere, amazing food, friendly staff, and vegan donuts! I always try to try out something new off the menu whenever I visit, and I've yet to be disappointed. Th vegan nachos with added pulled jackfruit is always a hit, and the vegan donut holes taste like regular non-vegan cinnamon donuts! If you haven't already been here to try it out I highly recommend it!

A fairly new restaurant has opened on Elizabeth Street restaurant row in Hobart: Veg Bar.Amid a street of good eats, Veg Bar is a Winner. If anyone needed or wanted to prove vegetarian food can be spledelicious - this is the place! They offer a good selection of taste treats and they are licensed and offer takeaway.Don't miss the Cauliflower Buffalo Wings with chili sauce and Caesar sauce - taste, taste, taste without guilt. Tempura tofu and veg noodles - delicious. Sweet potato fries... Yum.The place is warm and well lighted with visible kitchen and bar services. Tables can be shifted around to allow large parties. The staff are bright and very friendly.I'm in Hobart two nights and I'll be back tomorrow to sample some of the other temptations.If you have any preconceived ideas regarding vegetarian - put them in a closet. Get out and sample vegetarian cuisine to make you a believer... Bon apetite...

Stopped past on way home from work to grab takeaway.So many awesome dishes to choose from!Ended up with the hummus bowl and the soba noodles.Wow!!! Just oh so tasty,fresh,delicious and made me wanting more (I went back 4 days later for the soba noodles once again)Give it a try-great food,friendly staff.
