Baldo's Mexican Food - North Highlands

I had the shrimp salad and spicy wings, and both were fantastic. The shrimp was perfectly barbecued and seasoned, tender and not rubbery at all. The wings had a wonderful smoky BBQ flavor that was just right—not overpowering at all. The meat practically fell off the bone without being mushy. I highly recommend them!

This restaurant offers the most exquisite and delicious chicken you could imagine. It's a small, unassuming spot located on a rough stretch of Watt Avenue, but don't be fooled by its appearance. The chicken here is truly extraordinary!

Your chicken is fantastic! No matter what you order, definitely pair it with the chicken. The only reason I gave them four stars is that their refried beans were just okay. I’ll definitely be back, but I’ll probably request all pinto beans next time!

If you see the grill smoking, you have to stop. I have the wing and leg plate, just incredible. Smoky delicate and juicy. Not too pricy. Very recommended.

First time here. Ordered an asada burrito and a chile verde burrito through the drive-through the girl who took my order was really patient and nice. Went up to the window and had to wait a few minutes (to me means fresh food). Got home and ate good. The food was tasty the habanero sauce is spicy, just right for the asada burrito. Burrito is well served with MEAT not just rice and beans. Definitely will come back.
