The Wee Vinoteca - North Hertfordshire

Visited solo for a quick glass of wine and found both the atmosphere and the hosts really welcoming! Will definitely be coming back with friends!

My wife and I absolutely love coming here. We come for the regular supper club and wine tasting events and also to buy wine. It 's a wonderful venue with very friendly and knowledgeable hosts Dom and Matthew in particular. The place has a marvellous ambience and of course so easy to get to, being just off the high street. The Wee Vinoteca is our go to place in Hitchin now. The wine itself comes from independent, often family producers chosen carefully by the staff. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It has been a great discovery a gift that keeps on giving. We 'll be returning here on a regular basis; a real home from home.

Dania and Megan were fantastic hosts who offered excellent recommendations on delicious wines. The Argentinian merlot and champagne were a perfect choice.

Dom is so knowledgeable! He cohosted the “wine not pairing” with cawsburger which was a fabulous night! His wine pairing were fantastic and worked so well! Wouldn’t have thought of pairing desser wine with chicken and waffles but it was great almost mimicking maple syrup but fresher! Will be popping by the shop so we can recreate at home!

This wine bar is the best in the area, with a fantastic manager who is both friendly and knowledgeable. A night out here is always a wonderful experience!
