Sugar Boutique - North Hertfordshire

We had the most fabulous afternoon in the sugar boutique, we were looked for ingeniously and the cakes were ineffective! it was always little detail thought. we had the “Be our Guest” high tee and we couldn’t mistake him at all. is absolutely. be back soon!

Disappointed. during booking I got three time slots to choose - I chose the morning slot. I then got a call 2 days before my booking that my party was the only one who booked at this time so they wanted me to postpone it, because they don't want the staff to work for me only. I booked the later time slot I told was 12:15. it was pointed out that the slot was actually 12:45 and then come again. I came back at 12:40 to sit and found that any other party that had booked at that time was already sitting and had begun to eat. the food was nice and it looked fantastic, it was just a shame that we had been there for 25 minutes before the hearty food was made available. I also didn't expect me to sit on a table with other people I didn't know-- because this was not what I had experienced at previous visits- I suppose they forced us to avoid doing my original booking time. it is a unique experience so I would recommend this, but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed to visit this.

My partner treated me to the mean girls high tea for my birthday. Absolutely blown away by the creativity, taste and service at this place. High tea is served in a beautiful cabin. The savoury food was so nice and lots of sweet treats that...you can take home if you can’t finish. There’s a bell to call staff but they were always around, we never needed to use it! Staff were so lovely and we even bought some cakes from the shop to take back. Can’t believe anyone would give this place 1 star! Definite 5 star experience for us!!!

I can not recommend the cakes we got for our coffee morning enough! So fresh, creative and very nice indeed. Very quant little shop. Thank you to the lady that helped.

If they think about booking a theme afternoon tea here, I would remember again. £27.00 for a ham roll, a soggy cheese pasty, a mini queue and three small triangles of cheese with cucumber on pitta brot. desserts a cupcake, a cookie with. a chocolate frog above, two boots shaped biscuits along with goo, treacle tart in a glass, a ferrero rocher choc and a horrid green drink. the ham reel had a hot senf, which my sister cannot eat, so that we had a replacement without needing to be squandered and summed that no need to be notified as “thetary requirements” in advance. it's sinking. service with posture and we were hastened, tables cleaned while still eating, they need to leave soon as the time is up and all this in a glorified bow at the end of a street. can not wait to go again.
