Kimpton Spice - North Hertfordshire

Friday 12th March 2021, orderd a meal for two of us, on the phone, very polite,helpful member of staff, took order efficiently. I read a bad review recently, seemed completely unfair, so I didn't use Kimpton Spice for a few months because if their review! I needn't have worried, our meal was excellent, fresh, hot, and very tasty, and reasonably priced. I will now only use Kimpton Spice for our takeaway Indian meals for us and future guests indefinitely.

Delicious curry, best lamb I’ve had at an Indian, and amazing Bombay potatoes! So much choice that you don’t get at other Indians also, which I can’t wait to keep trying. The meal deal for 2 is amazing value also!

This was a surprise! We had this place recommended to us by a friend and decided to give it a shot instead of using the Dildar II in Wheathampstead. It’s located in Claggy Road in one of the industrial units near the Husqvarna Chainsaw Unit. First impressions of the place weren’t that great but the gentleman behind the counter was extremely friendly. The food, however, was the best Indian food I have ever had. The Mango Murghi, in particular, was delicious. Everything was well cooked and packed full of flavour. If I could give 10 stars I would.

We are loyal fans of Kimpton Spice and have always enjoyed our meals from there. Tonight we had our first takeaway for a couple of months and it seemed very different we’re assuming due to a new chef. The curries were much oilier than before, we got mushroom rice instead of the lemon rice we’d ordered, and there seemed to be a massive difference between my “medium” dish (which was disappointingly mild) and my other half’s “hot” dish which was blow your head off hot! We’ll give it another go and hope for an improvement

Incredible service, fabulous food, at reasonable prices. What more could you want for?? I have a young daughter and they were very understanding and knocked very quietly along with several other of my ridiculous dining demands!! Customer service is superb. Highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed.
