We frequently visit this fish and chip shop because we can always count on consistently good quality. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend it.

Ordered regular Cod and Chips, £11, tiny piece of poor quality fish, served in broken segments, thin, soggy batter. Service was Fawlty Towers like, customers standing, bemused and frustrated, staff muddling up orders, one customer pays for double fish and chips, having only ordered single fish and chips, staff said customer would receive refund of the extra fish and chips, but refund not given, and customer leaves with single fish and chips, having paid for double Won't be using this establishment again.

5 out of 5 I’m not sure what the negative reviews for this place are all about because the fish and chips I had from here today were excellent. My haddock was perfectly cooked with light thin crispy batter. The chips were great and I was served a good sized portion of both fish and chips. The mushy peas were very good and my wife’s curry sauce was delicious. The staff are always cheery and happy. I live abroad and this is my chip shop of choice when in the UK visiting my in-laws and I’m quite perplexed to see negative reviews because I’ve always found the food here to be fantastic.

We ordered just over 130 fish and chips plus spicy bean pie chips from Deep Blue in Letchworth for a Jazz concert that took place locally last Saturday. Dean and the team delivered fantastic service. The food arrived hot and delivered ready to serve in 3 batches. The portion sizes were huge for the cost. We will definitely be ordering from there again! Thank you
