Days Of Ashwell - North Hertfordshire

The best bakers in Letchworth with friendly staff. They serve the most delicious Chelsea Buns I have ever tasted. I have not found any other bakers that make them like this.Visited in October 2020.

The sourdough bread at this restaurant is incredible. It is used to make garlic bread, but it is delicious on its own as well. Stacey and the other staff members have been wonderful to get to know. They have always been open when other places were closed, and they are always friendly and make me laugh. While there are many tempting treats on offer, I have been trying to be good lately and stick to the basics. They helped me provide fresh bread to six different households during lockdown, and I am so grateful for their exceptional customer service. I highly recommend the Ladies from Days of Letchworth!

This was the third time I have visited. A Belgian Bun is a favourite and Days'is very good. However, last time I also bought a chicken slice, as they had run out of steak slices, and I was very disappointed with the lack of chicken. Anyway, I tried the steak slice today and was even more disappointed with the savoury gravy filling. Trades descriptions!?

I have decided to stop dining at Days restaurant. The prices have become excessively high and I find them to be unreasonable now. I apologize for my decision.

Days make and sell great sandwiches and pastries. If you can't find anything you like among their large selection of sandwiches, rolls and baguettes they'll make whatever you like while you wait. It's a great choice for a quick and tasty lunch.
